IS 500 ERROR PREVALENTON GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLE?

To Experts, it is normal to see Google Search Console returning 500 server error. As per Google, The reasons for the errors are as follows:

Google Bot could not access your URL:
It means, there is some server-side issue where the server is not responding to the Google bot’s request for crawling or accessing your URL there by resulting in the error. Your site’s server did not respond to the bot, so the Google’s crawling did not happen on URL.

Solution: Check your server management team and ask them to look for any internal issue going on server as server is too busy to respond to Bot’s requests

Google May be over crawling:

Google bot may sometimes over crawl your website. If you see sudden spike in the histogram and find that over crawling is happening. Request Google Search Console to limit the crawling For more info Check Google’s answer to this here

Limit excessive page loading for dynamic page requests:

If page 1 (www.abc.com/white and red dress) of your site and Page 2 (www.abc.com/white dress and red dress) of your
site are providing the same content. Then Google bot considers such URLs dynamically and they knock a heavy load on-site resulting time out issues

DNS Configuration issue:

Sometimes DNS Configuration may block Google bot unintentionally from crawling which may result in a server error. Check this with your Server Provider.

Your Site’s Hosting Server is overloaded:
If you want to have a safe and secure server, do not choose the servers which are highly loaded with other things too. Check with your hosting servers and get their dynamics and facets to get an idea on the load on their servers. If it is possible, Dedicated Server is very good choice to have for your smooth functioning. Choose the best Hosting servers.

Backend updates of Search Console by Google:

This is a possible reason why some parts of the Google Search Console are not working. There may be some of Google’s minor or major updates of Search Console rolled on. Refresh every here and then to ensure the update’s completion.

Your Site is highly Susceptible to Aggressive Malware or Hacker codes:

Ask your server provider to go for a detailed scan and get yourself ensured that your site has no spam and malicious codes happening. Google Bot pulls the plug on the moment it catches something fishy on your website and sometimes may suspend you from indexing. Be assured that no such things are tingling threat to your sites.
